Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs) give you a temporary stay in Canada. TRV holders must either leave Canada at the end of their stay or extend their stay period. TRVs include:

Permanent Resident Visas (PRVs)

Permanent Resident Visas (PRVs) typically are converted to Permanent Resident permits upon arrival at a port of entry (POE). Permanent Resident permits enable holders to have an indefinite stay in Canada. Some of the Permanent Resident permits are found in these categories below:
